Research Advertisement

My name is Juan R. Pantoja-Patiño and I am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, IL. I am currently completing a research study under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Vera, and I was hoping to advertise within your network.

I am conducting a survey to develop and validate a new measure called the Internalized Heterosexist Racism Measure since there are no known measures that assess internalized intersectional oppression among sexual minorities of color (LGBQ+ and person of color). The new measure will help professionals study and diagnose internalized heterosexist racism. The research study also hopes to elevate the experiences of sexual minorities of color dealing with internalized heterosexist racism to eliminate the discrimination/negativity.

I am contacting LGBTQ centers across the US to amplify the experiences of QPOC like myself. I would be grateful if the research study was advertised within your network. Please let me know if this would be possible and would be glad to forward any relevant materials you may need from me.
