OA&FS Peer Support Cohort

Open Adoption & Family Services is hosting a counselor facilitated space for adoptive parents in the queer community to share, connect, and gain support from one another. Participants will gather weekly for four weeks to discuss parenting through an LGBTQ+ lens and explore topics such as navigating the differences and unique challenges of parenting through adoption as an LGBTQ+ family, talking about adoption with your child, adoptee development, creating a culture of openness, belonging, and community resources.
