Voices Off, HUH? It may seem a little strange or unsettling, think of it like dancing without music.

Why a voices off space?  A Voices Off event creates an inclusive space where individuals can communicate using alternative methods, fostering deeper connections and understanding within the community.

How Do I?

Here are various methods of non-verbal communication.   Good ol’ fashion – paper and pen, there will be paper and pens available at the event.   Use your phone,  open up your favorite notes app, enlarge the text, set a dark background and you are ready to type!  And our most favorite,  ASL! Spreading queer joy and love with every gesture

What is National LGBTQ Awareness week?  National Deaf LGBTQ+ Awareness Week is a week-long event that aims to raise awareness and support for individuals who identify as both Deaf and LGBTQ+. It is a project of the Deaf Queer Resource Center. It began in 2018 and takes place annually in April.
