Accountable Communities Relationship Skills Class
May 4 @ 12:00 pm - May 25 @ 3:00 pm
Have you ever grappled with the meaning of accountability?
Have you wanted to learn about community accountability processes but not known where to start?
Want to learn more about the building blocks for Transformative Justice?
This might be the RSC for you!
The Northwest Network in partnership with API Chaya present a 4-week RSC workshop where we will collectively explore the meaning of accountability, learn more about different paths to justice, and vision for liberation!
This will be a brunch-y, snack filled series, exploring the skills around nuance and complexity that we need to build and hold the relationships and communities that we want. <3 This series is not the space to troubleshoot specific community accountability processes folks are/have been a part of, but rather a space to build skills and practice. This class is open to: LGBTQIA folks and our loved ones, who have taken the NW Network’s full RSC series (7 weeks) *or* API Chaya’s Natural helper’s training. If you have never taken the full RSC *or* API Chaya’s Natural Helper’s training, we would highly encourage that you do so that you can attend similar workshops in the future! When & Where? The workshops will be held from 12:00-3:00pm on Saturday May 4th, Saturday May 11th, Saturday May 18th & Saturday May 25th. We ask that if you are signing up for this series that you are available and able to commit to all 4 class sessions. Location: Church of Hope Community Space in Columbia City
