Advertising and Promotion
Poster Promotion Policy
We post materials promoting an event sponsored or presented by Seattle LGBTQ+ Center, its immediate partners, or events in designated areas.
All event posters should align with the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center’s mission and address at least one Social Determinant of Health.
For consideration, please submit the artwork, links, budget (if available), name of sponsoring organization or office and its contact information, date, location, and price of entry/service to [email protected].
Please read carefully and follow the instructions below:
- Submit posting materials to the Communications Department for approval in person or by emailing [email protected].
- All materials and events must conform to state and local laws and the policies of the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center. We will not approve posters that are obscene, discriminatory, libelous, promote illegal activity, or convey a message that conflicts with the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center’s mission.
- An organization responsible for improper posting may subsequently lose the privilege of posting information at Gay City. In addition, any improperly advertised event that uses the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center’s space may be canceled.
- Once approved, postings will be displayed for up to thirty days or until the date of the event, whichever comes first.
- After approval, if you submitted your request by email, you must provide the poster in print to the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center.
