OurQ is about the link between health and social justice. It’s recognizing the challenges we face as lesbian, gay, bi and trans people. It’s also about empowerment through education and collective action. OurQ is knowledge – Our Cue to Action.

OurQ Toolkit

In the fall of 2010, Gay City Health Project, in collaboration with One Degree Events, received a Communities Putting Prevention to Work grant that was used to fund our Presenting Sponsorship of Seattle's 2011 PrideFest. The focus of the project was on using policy and systems change to impact the disproportionately high use of tobacco in LGBT communities.

This page contains information on some of the successes and challenges Gay City faced during the course of the project, as well as some information you may need in order to set up a similar project for your agency or organization.
