Youth Mixer at MoPOP

This year, Gay City: Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center is partnering with the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) for a youth mixer Pride event! Featuring live performances, art and creative activities, MoPOP exhibits, music, dancing, and more. Lineup coming soon.

This event is geared towards youth ages 14-21, primarily BIPOC LGBTQ+ youth.

Tentative schedule (subject to change):
7-8:30 PM – Museum exploration, tabling from community organizations, Zine making
8-9:15 PM – Live performances in the Sound & Vision Theater
9:30-10:30 PM – Dance Part in Learning Labs

We are currently recruiting performers for Pride at MoPOP and Queer Youth Pride. Performers earn $100 per act (so if you perform at both events, you will receive $200). Performances from people of all skill levels, ages, disciplines, and abilities will be considered, provided they are appropriate for all ages.
